Hello!!

I apologize for the lack of posts! It’s been way too long. I aim to get up at least 3 posts a week, but I haven’t teen able to do that recently. My husband ended up in the hospital with pneumonia, so my life has been extra crazy lately! Between my kids, still working & going back & forth to the hospital for the last 2 weeks, something had to give….unfortunately it was the blog! All is well now, he’s home & doing much better, so I’m back & promise to get back on track with my blog! One thing I was able to do was get a lot of planning done & I have A LOT of great posts coming up!

So, I’m back with a review! I picked up the Tartlette in Bloom eyeshadow palette about a month ago, during Tarte’s 30% off sale. I’ve been using it since I received it, so I feel like I’ve had enough time to really get a good opinion on it.

As always, the packaging is amazing. Tarte really kills it on their packaging. It’s a metal package with a mirror. Very sturdy, not too big & bulky & great for traveling, that’s always a plus!

You gets 12 shadows (each .053 oz) for $46.00. You’re paying about $3.83 per shadow, so in my opinion, the price point is very fair.

It’s a very neutral palette which I LOVE! I always gravitate towards neutral browns because that’s what I use almost every single day. You get 9 matte shades & 3 shimmer (or “luster” as described online).

This is part of Tarte’s Amazonian Clay line, so the shadows are infused with their signature Amazonian Clay Flomula. Speaking of formula, it’s AMAZING! In my opinion, Tarte has one of the best eyeshadow formulas. They’re VERY pigmented, creamy & blend so easily. I’m by far  NOT a makeup professional, but I have no problem working with these at all. They’re long lasting even without an eyeshadow primer. I also haven’t had any problems with creasing.

The only 2 “negative” things I have to say about this is….I have noticed some kick up in the pan & some fall out. Just be sure to use a light hand in the pan & tap the excess off the brush & you’ll be fine. It’s not horrendous & you can totally work with it. The shadows are very buildable so just build it up & you’ll have no problems. Also, there is no matte black. Of course, that’s just my personal preference, but I think every eyeshadow palette should have a really dark, matte black! It does have a very dark brown though.

Awesome palette & I totally recommend! I’m really glad I finally picked it up after eyeing it for so long! I’ve been reaching for it EVERY SINGLE DAY since I got it. It really is beautiful & well worth the money.

Stay tuned! I have A LOT of posts I’ve been planning & a lot of content coming up! Thank you so much for reading!! 😀😀😀
